1. About this policy
This policy explains how Feelthepulse Advertising & Media WLL ("Pulse", "we", "us"), CR 162296-2, collects, uses and protects personal information through feelthepulse.me and pulsecalendar.me and our related services. 2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, making a booking, purchasing a listing or subscription, entering a promotion, commissioning advertising or content services, or contacting us. Depending on the service, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, billing information, attendee details, ticket IDs, assigned seats and correspondence. For competitions and giveaways, this may include entry information, proportionate eligibility checks, prize-claim records and publicity permissions. Date of birth may be required where necessary to verify eligibility for an age-restricted event.
We also process transaction information, such as the amount, date, order reference and payment status. When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may collect your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed and interactions with the website.
3. How we use information
We use information to process payments, administer accounts and subscriptions, issue tickets, support event admission, deliver listing and promotional services, answer enquiries, handle refunds, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. We also use website information to understand usage, improve our services and measure marketing effectiveness. Promotional communications and optional tracking are subject to applicable consent requirements, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails. Essential booking and payment communications are separate from marketing.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through AFS using Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS). Payment information is handled by the relevant payment processors, acquiring banks and card issuers as necessary to authorise and complete transactions, administer authorised recurring payments, prevent fraud and process refunds. Payment processing uses secure encrypted connections.
We process the transaction and billing information needed to administer purchases and meet record-keeping obligations. Event organisers do not receive your billing information or card credentials from Pulse. Never send full card numbers, security codes or passwords to our support email.
5. Sharing information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share information only for the purposes described in this policy, where necessary to provide our services, with appropriate permission, or as required or permitted by law.
For your booked event, the organiser receives relevant attendee information such as names, contact details, ticket IDs and assigned seats. Date of birth may be shared where necessary for age verification. Organisers must protect that information and use it for the disclosed booking purposes; unrelated marketing requires appropriate separate permission or another lawful basis.
Necessary information may also be processed by providers supporting payments, hosting, email, customer support, analytics and advertising. We may disclose information to competent authorities where legally required, or where necessary to investigate fraud, protect rights or enforce agreements. Independent organisers and external websites may have their own privacy notices.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to support website functions, understand visitor behaviour and measure and improve advertising. We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for analytics, advertising measurement and, where enabled, relevant advertising. These services may process device and browser information, identifiers and website interactions under their own privacy policies.
We may introduce other analytics or advertising tools serving similar purposes. We will update this policy where appropriate and obtain consent where required before enabling relevant processing. Adding a tool does not override your applicable privacy choices.
You can manage or remove cookies through your browser settings and use available provider privacy controls. Restricting cookies may affect website functionality. Where consent is required for optional cookies or tracking, it will be requested separately; using the website alone does not replace that consent.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil the purposes described here, including active accounts, bookings, financial records, fraud prevention, disputes and applicable legal requirements. Service providers may process information outside Bahrain. Where this occurs, we apply the safeguards and requirements applicable to those transfers.
8. Children and dependants
Account holders and purchasers must be at least 18. Adults may book eligible dependants into events and provide the information necessary for those bookings. We do not invite children to create purchasing accounts or submit information directly. Parents or guardians may contact us about a dependant's information.
9. Your choices and policy updates
Contact website@feelthepulse.me to request access, correction, deletion or other rights available under applicable law, or to withdraw consent where relevant. We may reasonably verify your identity and retain records where legally required or needed for unresolved transactions. You may also raise a concern with the competent Bahrain data-protection authority.
We may update this policy by publishing a revised version and effective date. Material changes will be notified where required. This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
